The Iowa Snapper was named after the Iowa University Wreslting program becasue of their reputation for attacking an opponents head. It provides about 75 Lbs of resistance and allows wrestlers to increase thier forearm and upper body wrapping power so they can dominate and get opponents tired when attacking the head.
